Fruit pure├ęs

 

Use either Raspberries, Strawberries or mixed Forest Fruits (Frozen)

 

170g as above

80g sugar - might need less or more according to the fruit

20g cornflour

1 tbsp water

 

Mix the cornflour and water to a paste.

 

Thaw the frozen fruit, add the sugar and gently heat until simmering.

 

Add the cornflour/water mixture, boil for one minute whilst stirring constantly.

 

Pour into clean, hot jars and seal.

Use instead of jam to sandwich your cake layers - gives a much fresher fruit taste.
