Cold porcelain

A non-edible alternative to flower paste.

Once dried the flowers are unbreakable and can be washed in soapy water to freshen them up.

Recipe:

100g cornflour

65 ml hi-tack glue

65 ml PVA glue

1 1/2 tablespoons baby oil

Mix all together in a non-stick saucepan.

Heat gently whilst stirring constantly.

It starts off as a sticky mess, but gradually forms into a ball leaving the sides of the pan clean - once this happens then take off the heat.

Rub some Nivea cream over the paste ball and pop into a food grade plastic bag.

Leave overnight.

Use as flower paste - I prefer to use conflour to stop it sticking to the board.
